5. The Diva from Luc Besson's "Fifth Element"

(For those who haven't seen the film, this article is going to spoil some vital parts of the movie) Diva Plavalaguna was an opera singer in which the four original elements was entrusted to.  The elements that happens to be the only capable weapon of defeating evil force which appears in every 5000 years.  Her death brings Korben Dallas' (Bruce Willis) and Leeloo's (Milla Jovovich) adventure spiraled even deeper as the four elements are now in their hands (and Leeloo is being the fifth, who would conjugates the other four into activation)  hence being the target of  Gary Oldman's super cool villainous character, Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg.

But today, we are not going to review the film, rather, the fantastic, exceedingly stylish presentation of the future depicted in the film.  Filled with vibrant colors, crazy characters and a very cool opera/fight scene, Lady Gaga would love to call it home.  Diva Plavalaguna was portrayed by french beauty Maiwenn Le Besco, her appearance was brief, but the scene was spectacular, and i personally think it was the encapsulation of the whole movie; crazy, stylish, a bit haunting, cool and a feast for the eye. The fight scene was actually choreographed to fit into the opera song, the opera itself was transitioned smoothly from a classical tone to a disco-tranc-ey vibe.  Both fight and opera scenes plays alternately, sharing the same score.

I watched this movie when i was still in junior high and it still remains in my list of "Effortessly rewatchable movie scenes".  Watch it here
